Scumrun 2009!

Hi all,

It’s that time of the year again where I need to ask you for some money!

The event is the Scumrun (formerly Scumball 3000), and for those of you that don’t know, it’s a rally across Europe in a car worth £500 or less in order to raise as much money as possible for the nominated childrens charity.

This year the charity is CHASE Hospice Care for Children (http://www.chasecare.org.uk) and I would love to beat last year’s fundraising of £2000.

Like last year, I would love for you to sponsor my car, and achieve this by “buying” advertising space on the car, all of which you can pay via the Justgiving page detailed below. If you are interested in having your logo on the car, space is given on a first-come basis, with higher donations getting premium spots in the car, such as the bonnet or roof (although whilst space is available you can specify areas such as the wings). Examples of how much you are recommended to pay for the space would be around £400 for a logo of around 60cm x 90cm,£200 for 30cm x 60cm or £250 for 4x 15cm x 30cm (one on each corner), but please don’t look at these as maximums!

If you are interested, please send me your logo in PDF or EPS (as soon as possible), or if you have stickers or vinyl already created please send them my way.

Of course smaller donations are equally welcome for those who love (!) me enough to sponsor me anyway!

Please give as much as you are able to – I know these are difficult times for us all, but the charity needs us now more than ever. Also, if you are a business, the spend is tax deductable (either as charity or marketing spend)!

Donate here: http://www.justgiving.com/scumrun-2009

Cheques are equally welcome – please make them payable to “Chase Hospice Care for Children” and send them to my office.

Thank you in advance,

Eric
